Great template !!
What I must modify to set the first thumbnail visible when the page finish the loading on the web browser?

Now when the page ended the loading, the template show the thumbnail of the last link of the related topics, Instead of the first thumbnail.

I think I understand what needs to be done. Unfortunately, it sounds a bit beyond my experience. Looks like I’ll need to hire someone for this.

I decided that the best person to ask about this was Mitcho himself, and this is the response I got:

No, YARPP does not support looking up related posts based on an arbitrary query (such as some keywords or text) due to the way YARPP builds a cache of “relatedness” relations based on pairs of posts, not for strings of text.

You could, however, write an SQL query similar to that in the YARPP algorithm (found in the depths of magic.php) to do something like this on the fly… the most important component of this would be the “match … against …” MySQL statement.

So, it looks like it’s going to be a fair bit of work!

Alex, thanks for hanging with me on this.

The scenario: I have a non-WordPress photo page on my website, on which a list of tags are displayed (related to the photo, of course). I’d like to call YARPP on that page, pass to YARPP the list of tags and have YARPP return a list of related posts.

I know it’s possible to invoke WordPress functions outside of the WordPress environment. I would assume the same is true of WordPress plugin functions, including YARPP. I just don’t know how.

Any guidance is of course greatly appreciated.
