I had a little spare time the other day, so I decided to do something I had been wanting to to for a while; make some WordPress Desktops!

Screen Resolutions

Currently, I have the following screen resolutions available to download, but if you request another size, I’ll put that up as well.

  • 1280×800
  • 1280×1024
  • 1440×900
  • 1680×1050

The Photoshop Documents

I’ve also included the Photoshop PSDs in the download, so you can make any alterations or see how I did something.

    Well done, Alex! I *love* these. I’m really picky about my desktop images and currently have it blank. For the minimalist look. :D

    Also, I have a TON of icons. ;P

    I especially like the designs on the right side of the screen because my icons pile up on the left.

      Thanks so much! I’m exactly the same, that’s why I put most the stuff on the right hand side! I am quite a fan of the large W icon in the middle though, but have the last design as my desktop right now. Thanks for the RT too!

    Nice… if I didn’t have my beautiful 15 month old son plastered all over my desktop(s)… these would be a perfect second choice… and via the magic of Windows 7 I could use them all! :-)

    On a completely seperate (and off-topic) note I saw you were helping out Mariusooms with the 1.1-ification of BP events over on the BuddyPress forums… how’s that tracking along, seems to have gone a bit quiet again? :-)

      Yeah, the thread has some interest every now and again, but the plugin is still being updated fairly often. You can follow it through the trac.

    please make more of these,all the images are so unique and the best part is that the “w” of wordpress stands out so well
