New User Email Plugin Compatibility and Update
Finally, after months of promising, I’ve updated my New User Email Setup Plugin. The latest update includes several bug fixes and feature additions. As the Plugin Compatibility Checker is now in place, this is also a call for those of you who use the plugin to give me some feedback.
New in Version 0.5.2
- Fixed issue with final letter of From name being stripped
- Fixed jQuery issues with box toggle
- Added option to send admin notification to a different address than the user receives their email from.
- Changed layout, Yoast style…!
- General code tidying.
Please also visit the official repository page and enter your combination of WordPress version and plugin version, and please say if it works for you or not.
Whilst you’re there, you can also vote for the plugin, on a star based system out of 5.

awesome
Your plugin is great, but there doesn’t seem to be a way of stopping registration before Admin approval. Is there a workaround or new functionality you plan?
Thanks
Oliver
I have a plugin from registration to user choose password.
I activate this plugin and the blog sent 2 email to user.
1st mail is with password that user choose
2nd with the random password.
Is a probleme with this plugin and i need to dezactivate something?
Hi, Thank you for the plug in. The only issue I found was that with the plugin used lost password emails do not get sent out.
I have problems with the New Users Email – plugin to show äåö in the mail to new users. Any idea?
Hi! thanks for the plugin! I wonder if we could add more fields into the mail that it is actually sent to the administrator when someones register. I have a Members ARea, so my members enter more data like their names, address, etc, and I wonder how can I get all that data into the email that it’s been sent to me when they register. Is that possible?
is not sending email to admin no matter what i do
This plugin didn’t change the sender’s email address, and yes the email that i set is authentic.
Also, unpacking the install file as it is creates 2 entities for the plugin. Looks like the old one is still in the package.
All I want to do is change the sender’s address from “WordPress@…” and the email address WP does use does not exists at all (WP makes one up).
